I went to school for art, but even though I became a graphic designer after college, my drawing skills trailed off as I lost time to sketch. But my work was reinvigorated when I helped launch the Central Park Sketch Meetup. Now I'm the organizer of the group, with over 8,000 members, and I get to sketch at new locations in New York City all the time.
