I just want to say I think your poster is a great idea and that you are
providing a wonderful example to our young people. I think all adults
should be challenged to try to find some way to help end the prejudice
that we grew up with and whether purposely or inadvertently have continued.
I would like to request a hard copy of your poster. My printer just can't do it justice. In fact, I would like to request more than one, so that my kids can take one to hang up where they have youth group and in their Sunday school room, as well as at home and school. As a Mom, I have always taught my son, now almost 12 years old, not to
distinguish people by race, religion, etc. Almost every one of his teachers
that I have ever spoken to has told me how kind and compassionate he is.
He makes great contributions during the Jewish holidays and Kwanza, etc,
as he has been taught that differences in culture, religion and tradition
are wonderful things. We are caucasian, Christians, who believe that the
knowledge leads to understanding. As our family grows with grandnieces
and nephews we want them to grow knowing what is expected in our home.
Respecting what we are not familiar with is one of those things. I think

Thank you for this great offer. I'm the youngest of 5 girls who didn't realize my family was prejudiced until I was disowned for dating a black man! Hi!
I'm a Youth Center Coordinator in a small Pennsylvania town in which the vast majority of people are of German descent. Over the past few years, people of other ethnic groups have come to town.
All children are welcome at our Youth Centers -- the Reedsville Youth Center and the Lumina Center. The children all seem to get along well, and their problems with each other tend to be personal (regular "kid" arguments) rather than prejudicial. We'd like to keep it that way!

I come from Finland, where these issues, still very strongly excist,unfortunately!
Things are getting little easier as more foreign students are going to
study in Finland,but in SOME little towns the people are very hostile,even
if you come from another city(own experience!)I'm very much against it

a beautiful poster! I plan to paste it to the side
of my van and then cover it with polyurethane to protect it from the elements.
That way, when I drive, my town (which is having problems seeing beyond
the color of skin) can all see the beautiful message.

I am a Canadian girl who has travelled to China, and my Chinese boyfriend is now with me in Canada. Unfortunately, we experience other people's racism regularly. Thank you for sending the poster. It is nice. I know a little about the
Baha'i Faith. I studied the Kabalarian Philisophy at one time which also
teaches similar principles in understanding humanity. I used to own an
old beater and one time a fellow ran into my car. He left a note on it
that he had hit it and he did put quite a dint in the door. He left his
phone # and I called him. He gave me some money for the paint job. He
was from your faith. I was really surprized that anyone would do that.
When the Kabalarians get together at a luncheon they can leave their money
on the table knowing that no one in the room would steal it. I remember
the good old days when we could leave our bikes out front of our yard
and not lock our doors. I think studying these types of religions does
so much good and I really give you credit for helping to eliminate prejudices.
The children nowadays are taught this in school which we should have been.
I will give this poster to my daughter's school where I know it will be
well recieved. In my city there is a lot of prejudice against native Indians
- which happens to be my husband's background. We hear a lot of it because
he looks more German than native. People are embarrassed when they find
out his dad is native. I guess it's the nature of the beast. For my part
I do cross stitch embroidery. I am making my father-in-law a beautiful
picture of a dreamcatcher with a poem about the Web of Life. It has opened
more than a few people's eyes. Good luch with your poster. I have a water
color picture I painted (I am a commercial artist) of Chief Dan George
- if you don't know who he is - he was an old Indian actor who wrote some
beautiful poetry about races joining forces). I put one of these poems
on it and hope to some day do what you are doing with mine. I'm finding
that full color printing is very expensive. Can you give me any advice
